I was going to book my flight today (July 16) because I was told that most airlines require a two week advance booking for the best fares, also I have found that if you travel on Wedsnesdays the fares are cheaper. However, someone told me that most airlines have sales on Thursdays. However, that would only give me a 13 day advance booking. I have also been told that some airlines now only require a 7 to 10 day advance booking for the best fares. I’m getting a little confused with so much information. My boyfriends ex wife moved out of state with their children. He went to court to fight it because she had no reason to leave besides to leave…and she won and was able to move. Laws in this state didnt help the father out. The father is now required to pay for airfare (his and children) every other month (even though she is one that wanted to move). The children are at an age where they shouldnt fly alone, so he needs to fly and pick them up, fly back, and then 3 days later fly there to drop off and come back again.
The tickets are outrageous, because he is gonna have to fly and come back in the same day. Does anyone know if there are any flight discounts or anything for people who have child visitation?
This may be a dumb question, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
It’s going to end up being 1500 or more for these flights every other month and didnt know if there was anything for this sort of thing
