I’m looking for any special deals. We are planning on going in February, but I didn’t know if there are any deals, coupons, or discounts that anyone knows about. We want to stay in the park hotels, too. We are also going to need airfare.

We got the best deal just by calling their 800 number. You should check into their food plan, it is actually a really good deal. You should try to register where you want to eat (which restaurants ASAP); some of the good ones get booked up.

if you plan to stay on property while on a budget, stay at the value resorts. The bus transportation is free and will get you too and from the resorts/parks in a reasonable amount of time. If you’re really strapped for cash, staying in Kissimmee is a cheaper option however you won’t be on property.

There are alot of good ways to save money. Here are some hints/tips to use while making your trip. First of all you’re choosing a great time of year to go. February is off season so the park won’t be nearly as packed. Secondly, if you stay in the park you can stay in a cheaper hotel such as the all-star resorts. Thirdly, if you book online hotel and tickets together the more you save. There are tons of coupons/deals in your hotel and once you get into Florida so just look out for those. As far as air fares. Check Orbitz or Priceline, other then that air fare is going to be the most expensive thing. Have fun.

The Best place to book a package to WDW is directly through Disney. Take a look at their website, and decide where you want to stay, depending on the ages of your children you will have to go with a moderate priced resort or a family suite at one of the value resorts. Once you have chosen your resort and have your dates call Disney to book and ask about discounts. If your dates are open keep watching the website for discounts. The more days you stay the cheaper park admission gets also. Look into the dining package to save money on food. The benefits to staying at a Disney resort are well worth it, you could find a cheap motel off property but you might be very disappointed and to get a room where you know your not getting a dump you will pay right in the ballpark of Disney, plus tickets.

If you will email them they will send you a video that tells everything. You can also put your trip on lay away and pay it off in a certain time. That’s how we always do it.

I never book my Disney hotel’s online. Call the number directly. We stay at the all-star resorts and use their transportaion and love the cafeteria style food court.
I booked our Feb. vacation for $84 and the online site quoted me $103 a night. I think that’s a great deal!
Have fun!

An excellent site to help you save money going to Disney World is MouseSavers.com. They cover all aspects of going to Disney World: transportation, tickets, resorts, etc.
The best way to save money is to go in an off-season, but for February, it depends on when you go. Up until February 13 is value season, the least-expensive time to go as far as resort prices are concerned (and crowd levels are relatively low). But from February 14 on, you’re suddenly in peak season, so prices and crowds go up significantly.
It is advisable to stay on-site, and the least expensive way to do that is by staying at one of Disney’s value resorts. If you have an AAA membership, you can save up to 20% at a value resort. Staying on-site comes with all sorts of perks: Magical Express (free transportation to and from the airport), Extra Magic Hours (the parks open early or stay open late for on-site guests only), eligibility for the Disney Dining Plan, and free transportation via Disney’s buses, Monorail system, and ferry boats.
Some people here recommend booking directly through Disney. I would recommend instead finding a Disney-centric travel agency to help you with your plans. A good travel agency will keep an eye out for discounts and automatically apply them for you. Travel agents cost you absolutely nothing. Several good Disney-centric travel agencies include Dreams Unlimited Travel and Small World Vacations.
To get a great deal on tickets, sign up for the MouseSavers newsletter. It gets sent on the 15th of every month, and it contains a link for discounted tickets.
I mentioned the Disney Dining Plan earlier. If you will eat one quick-service meal and one table-service meal per day, the Disney Dining Plan is likely to save you money. For more information on the plan, see the link below.

The absolutely cheapest Disney vacation possible is to bring a tent and stay in Fort Wilderness Campground and buy NOTHING except your tickets. Pack sandwiches and apples or go back to your campsite to eat. If you can manage to avoid the gift shops and snack bars and keep your lodging under $100 a night, a week at WDW for the family can be quite affordable. If you don’t have that kind of discipline, it’s easy to spend $20 per person a day just on drinks in the parks, and I don’t mean alcohol either. The gift shops and snack bars will kill you.
BTW, Fort Wilderness is a WDW resort and you will have all the priviliges that hotel guests have.
