Should Congress Void all Tax Relief as well as Void any Fuel Tax Relief Effort as well as Airfare Subsidies?

This Tax Reliefs are false regardless of fuel prices. We all know that. Why not instead cap wages on CEOs much like goverment caping salaries on union workers. This will greatly reduce fuel hikes, particularly during the holidays.
As for subsidies, I do not get a tax break when I fly out of a major airport, why should some get a discount for flying out of a country airport. If we do away with that subsidy, it is guaranteed that it will save us $$. Why should I subsidize a country airport when they live within 2 hours of a major airport. People can walk a mall for hours and go on drinking binges, yet cannot afford a full airfare….
Congress forced Union Workers in the 80 to return to work and banned truckers from striking enforce. It caps lawsuits on corp. by employees yet ceos have no earning limit – regardless of outcome. Subsidies keep mom and pop operations from competing with corp – taxation paying for this does not benefit all taxpayers – say, no flyers, drivers that not drive SUV – see the point – rather this individuals should be taxed.

1. The government doesn’t cap the wages of union employees. The government has no say in wages aside from enforcing the minimum wage laws.
2. How in hell can capping CEO salaries affect fuel prices? That makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever.
3. Fuel prices are based primarily upon supply and demand. When fuel use increases in the summertime due to increased travel, fuel prices are sure to rise as well. Until Americans give up on the idea that it is their God-given right to be wasteful, fuel prices will remain inflated. Take a “Staycation” instead of a vacation and be part of the solution instead of being part of the problem.
4. How do you reckon someone gets a break for flying out of a smaller regional airport? The fares from the small airports are MUCH higher than the majors. I regularly fly out of SGF, XNA, and JLN. They are much closer to home that TUL or MCI and parking is cheaper but the airfares are substantially HIGHER flying from the small airports. And by the way, nearly ALL airports receive Federal subsidies of one type or another. The costs of maintaining airport services to the aviation community, especially navigation facilities and air traffic control are MUCH greater than the revenues that most airports can raise.
5. Stop trying to nail Jell-O to a tree. It’s a lot easier if you freeze it first.
