Discount Airfare Tickets Provided Online

David Faulkner asked:

Imagine flying to Hawaii or Cancun or even Vancouver. All of these flights are possible because airlines offer flights to any where in the world, but can you find them at a discounted rate? This has been a question long unanswered as airlines say they offer great discount airfare tickets if you buy directly from them. Thousands of websites offer discounted tickets if only you know where to look some people say. Nevertheless, what is the truth? Do search engines really provide discount airfare tickets below that of the actual airline?

The answer is most commonly yes. While the websites may not differ from each other, a great deal, as far as the airfare is concerned they do differ in taxes and fees. The airline websites do not compete with these deals. Usually websites are trying to get their tickets sold for top price even while keeping you to the limitations that the discount airfare ticket websites give you. These limitations are usually non-refundable, non-transferable tickets. Most airlines when they offer great deals will hold you to these same limitations and charge more for the ticket.

Is It A Good Deal Or Not

Well one answer is obvious if it is within the budget you have set up for travel than chances are it is a great deal, but can you find an even better deal if you continue to use the search engines and some choice keywords? Usually. There are many websites out there including sites that call themselves wholesale ticket websites. These tickets are offered at rock bottom price, but often you will find they are near the same price as other discount airfare tickets. Sometimes you find they are an even better deal because the airport tax is less through them. It is all perception, but even so, you do not want to miss a vacation by spending too many hours researching flights and lose the best deal you found. So be aware of limitations, hidden fees, and those special offers.

We each deserve to have the best vacation possible and most often it takes time and cutting out the travel agent to find the deals we can afford even when it’s a trip to Hawaii or someplace closer to home. Having questions when searching online for discount airfare tickets is only natural and you can find those answers when you go on to these travel websites. Keep in mind that word of mouth for great deals is also important when you are viewing vacations somewhere tropical. Have fun on your newest trip!

Getting Discount Airfares to France

Roland Jefferson asked:

When you are planning on taking a trip, the idea of paying for everything yourself might be intimidating. Costs can add up very quickly, and when it comes right down to it, the costs that are necessary to go on a trip – transportation and lodging – are often the costs that are going to hurt you the most. These things can often add up faster than you could ever imagine. If you are looking for things like discount airfares to France, there are many good ways to make sure that you are able to avail of these reduced priced fares.

Online vs. Offline

If you are looking for discount airfare to France, the first thing that you have to remember is that most often discount airfares to France or any other major city can be found through regular airlines, and with regular methods. Some of the sites on the internet will claim to have tickets for much less, but you may end up paying more in taxes.

The bottom line may be the same when you go directly through the airline; however in this case you’ll have more options and a sense of security. So, the first thing you have to figure out is when you are going to be looking for your discount airfare France and when you are willing to leave.

Be Flexible

The secret to finding discount airfares to France, as any cheap airfare, is to be flexible in the amount of time you plan on being gone, and what days you plan on traveling. No matter what, if you are flexible in your travel times, you are going to be much more likely to find discount airfare to France than if you are not flexible. This means that if you can handle leaving or coming back on slightly different days, you’ll find cheaper tickets. So, when you are looking for discount airfare to France, be sure to specify that you want cheap tickets, and that you’re willing to travel a few days before or after. This will allow you to find the best discount airfare to France.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the best discount airfare to France is not necessarily going to be a direct flight. If you are having trouble getting cheap tickets out of your airport, see if there is one near you which will provide you with better rates. There is nothing quite like being able to drive just a short distance and come away with a great drop in your airfare.

Traveling to the Philippines?

Steffy asked:

I have done a lot of searching of different sites for discounted airfare for traveling to the Philippines, and so far they are all running about the same price. But what I am wanting to know is, is one of the discount websites better then the others? If so, is one more reputable then the others? For I will be booking a flight online for sometime this August but I don’t want to use a site that won’t deliver what is promised.

Also any recommendations on which airline is best to use would be helpful. I have heard all sorts of stories about PAL, Cathay and Eva, so any personal experiences on any of these would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Would this be considered as a threat?

tracy asked:

I recently booked an international flight for my son through an internet discount airfare company. Yesterday, my son realized that he will not receive his passport in time for the departure on Sunday, June 21st and called the company to change his departure date to either June 24th or June 25th. The eticket he received states that airline penalties and a processing fee by the company will be charged in the event of changes.

The company told my son the airline penalties would be $247.00 and the company fee would be $100.00 — but then they placed him on hold and returned to tell him his ticket would cost an additional $5,000.00. My son was terribly upset, hung up and called me. I immediately called the company, was on hold for 45 minutes before speaking with a customer representative. When I tried to change the departure date, I was told the airline penalties would be $350.00 and the processing fee would be $100.00. The customer rep placed me on hold for 5 minutes, then returned and told me there would be an additional charge of $7,000.00.

I read to her the statement on the eticket about changes, we argued about this for a little bit, then I insisted on speaking with her supervisor. Again, went through the same ordeal with the supervisor. It was difficult to understand the supervisor and the customer rep — they are with a call center in India.

I am preparing to call the toll free number now, hopefully talk with someone in the U.S.. This morning, I have investigated this company’s practices and discovered it is fraud.

My question is if I tell customer service that I am prepared to file charges and complaints with all authorities if this cannot be resolved reasonably, will my statement be considered a threat?

Any advice on how to get cheap airfare?

peachy78 asked:

I am traveling with my 5-month-old daughter down to Florida for Thanksgiving, because my grandmother is not doing well. She has cancer and the chemo is not helping…we think that she’s nearing the end. So I want to go down there soon and Thanksgiving is when everyone in the family gets together…but travel right now is so expensive. (I live in NH.) I’ve gone to bestfares.com, orbitz.com, travelocity.com, and most of the major airlines’ websites. I was quoted a pretty cheap airfare on bestfares, but I don’t know if I can get that rate when I call the airline that it’s offered thru. Does anyone have more experience with this? I’m a little overwhelmed! (I’ve only flown twice before and both times, the flights were arranged by friends of ours, not me.) Any help would be appreciated. Thx.
